An after builders clean can be a very phsically demanding task, however it is important to ensure that your home is clean and safe after a renovation. Here are some general steps we take to do an after builders clean:
Remove debris: Removing any debris, such as wood chips, plaster, or drywall dust. Use a broom and dustpan to sweep up larger debris, and a vacuum cleaner to remove smaller particles.
Dust surfaces: Remove dust from all surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and floors. Be sure to dust light fixtures, vents, and other hard-to-reach areas.
Clean windows: Clean windows and mirrors, removing all stickers, glue, plaster and other debris taking care to not scratch glass! Any existing scratches/damage on glass will be reported before work commences or re-commences.
Wash surfaces: Wash all surfaces, including countertops, cabinets, and appliances. Be sure to rinse thoroughly with water.
Clean floors: Depending on the type of flooring you have, you may need to mop or scrub the floors to remove any remaining dirt or debris.
Air out the space: Open windows and doors to allow fresh air to circulate throughout the space.
